Prime Minister Netanyahu, together with Defense Minister Israel Katz, oversaw earlier today the Air Force's special operation to strike terror targets of the Houthi rebels in Yemen. The Prime Minister made clear that the Houthis: "will have to learn the hard way" that whoever attacks Israel gets severely hit.

Netanyahu and Katz arrived today (Sunday) at the Air Force pit in the Kirya, together with Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir and Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar, to observe the Air Force strikes against Houthi regime targets in Yemen. The operation focused on strategic targets in the city of Sana'a, including the presidential palace, the city's power station, and the fuel tanks that supply it.

"The Air Force struck strategic targets in Yemen again today. It struck the presidential palace in the heart of the capital Sana'a, the city's power station, the fuel tanks that supply it.

The Houthi terror regime is learning the hard way that it will pay and is paying a very heavy price for its aggression against the State of Israel.

I want to congratulate the Chief of Staff, the Air Force Commander, and our pilots on perfect execution. All our aircraft returned to our territory.

Whoever attacks us - we attack them. Whoever plans to attack us - we attack them. I think the entire region is learning the strength and determination of the State of Israel."

Defense Minister Israel Katz also took part in overseeing the mission, and announced after its execution:

"The IDF has now destroyed the Houthis' presidential palace in Yemen and attacked fuel depots and power and electricity stations.

We continue imposing an air and naval blockade and striking infrastructure targets that serve to advance Houthi terror.

For every missile they fire toward Israel, the Houthis will pay with compound interest. Today we brought upon the Houthis a plague of darkness and gloom, and going forward - there will also be a plague of the firstborn."
