The rival government in Yemen and a major Yemeni influencer living in Sweden say that the Houthis are now branching into illegal drug manufacturing, specifically Captagon, according to a report tonight (Thursday) by Kann News.

Per the report, the Houthis, with Iranian backing and blessing, are creating Captagon factories in converted pharmaceutical complexes in Sanaa and elsewhere to make the kind of terrorism-supporting billions made by Bashar Assad and Hezbollah, despite drugs being prohibited by Islam.

Smuggling of Captagon into multiple Middle Eastern countries has been a consistent problem, and even Jordan has shown a willingness to use deadly force to prevent any and all drug smuggling.
