IAEA Chief: "Iran could produce bomb-grade uranium within months"
Despite U.S. strikes, Rafael Grossi says Iran’s nuclear program remains dangerously intact, contradicting Trump’s claims of full destruction.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, paints a completely different picture from that presented by U.S. President Donald Trump in an interview he gave last night to an American network. While Trump claimed this week that Iran's nuclear facilities "were completely destroyed," Grossi said that the damage is severe but not total, and that Iran still has the capability to resume uranium enrichment for military purposes within "a few months."
In an interview with CBS on Saturday, Grossi said, "Honestly, you cannot claim that everything is gone and there's nothing there," adding that "Iran still possesses industrial and technological capabilities, and if it wants – it can restart in a very short period."
He made these statements following American strikes aimed at three key nuclear sites in Iran – Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan – which joined an Israeli attack that took place already on June 13, amid assessments in Israel that Iran is close to achieving a nuclear bomb. So far, the extent of the damage remains unclear, and reports are contradictory.
