IDF Chief of Staff: Syria is collapsing and transforming
Zamir said that the IDF must continue to maintain alertness despite the multiple successes.

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir conducted a tour and situational assessment in IDF-held territory in southern Syria today (Tuesday), where he said the following:
"We have been in a multi-arena campaign for a long time, and last week we reached another peak in the campaign. We are hitting hard at all components of the axis that Iran built against us - and now we have acted forcefully against the head of the axis - the Iranian regime and the Revolutionary Guards.
"We must maintain high alertness and keep our eyes open at all times. Our defense in the Golan Heights sector is in the forward defense space, implementing proactive activity to prevent threats. We will attack wherever required against any real or emerging threat. We continue to strike at terrorist organizations and Hezbollah.
"Syria has disintegrated and is now in transformation, we are holding key points and will continue to operate beyond the border with the aim of defending ourselves in the best way possible."
