The IDF destroyed a kilometer long tunnel belonging to Hamas, as part of operations to expand the IDF security perimeter in the northern and central part of the Gaza Strip.

The IDF has been working to expand its control of the Gaza security perimeter in the northern and central part of the Gaza Strip over the past few days. As part of these operations, Yahalom combat engineers blew up a nearby terror tunnel stretching about a kilometer long.

Watch:

IDF forces also discovered a workshop for producing rockets and rocket launchers.

So far, the 252nd Division has eliminated about 50 terrorists.

Ever since the first phase of the ceasefire ended, Israel has been slowly increasing the pressure on Hamas to force further release of hostages without having to declare an end to the war or withdraw the IDF from the Gaza Strip. This pressure has received consistent backing from the Trump administration.

Israel has also cut off all electricity supply to the Strip from Israel, though there are enough private generators and solar panels to last for an undetermined amount of time.

In addition, the IDF has launched increasing numbers of air strikes against Hamas leaders and terrorists, eliminating many of their remaining senior leaders and removing clear threats to IDF forces.
