IDF eliminates Hamas mortar team | WATCH

During operations in the Gaza Strip, the IDF targeted an eliminated a Hamas unit firing mortars at IDF soldiers. No IDF soldiers were injured.

The IDF released this statement on the operation:

"During operations by 401st Brigade forces in the Gaza Strip today (Tuesday), several mortar rounds were fired at them with no casualties. After just one minute, the forces in the field, together with the 401st Brigade fire complex, identified the terrorist cell that had fired the mortars at them as it withdrew from the building and eliminated it from the air.

"The 401st Brigade combat team has been operating in the Gaza Strip in recent weeks under the command of the 162nd Division and will continue to operate in order to maintain the security of Israeli citizens."
