Released, returned, eliminated: IDF takes out freed terrorist who went back to planning attacks
Ali Sarfiti, jailed for terror from 2002–2015, resumed attacks, until Israeli forces struck back in Gaza City.

The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) confirmed today (Tuesday) that Ali Naddal Husni Sarfiti, a senior terrorist in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), was eliminated last Thursday in a targeted operation in Gaza City.
Sarfiti previously served a prison sentence in Israel from 2002 to 2015 for his involvement in terrorist activity, including providing military training and planning a suicide bombing. Following his release, he resumed operations to direct terror attacks, maintaining contact with operatives in Judea and Samaria and transferring millions of shekels to support terrorist infrastructure and fund attacks.
The IDF and Shin Bet also confirmed the elimination of Saʿid Abu Hasnan, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist from the Deir al-Balah Brigade who participated in the October 7 massacre in Kissufim. In addition, Mustafa al-Mutawwak, an operations officer in Hamas' Jabalia Brigade who directed attacks against Israeli forces in Gaza, was also eliminated in a separate strike.
