IDF foils weapons smuggling effort from Egypt

The IDF brought down a drone smuggling weapons from Egypt into Israel earlier today (Thursday), according to an IDF statement.

"IDF forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons from Egypt to Israel Earlier today (Thursday), IDF observers identified a drone attempting to smuggle weapons from Egyptian territory into Israeli territory in the Paran Brigade area. The drone was shot down by IDF forces. IDF fighters who arrived at the location found the drone, which was carrying ten 'M16' type weapons. The confiscated weapons were transferred for further handling by security forces."
