Terrorists Fire Anti-Tank Missile at IDF Forces – and Are Eliminated | WATCH
Israeli troops in northern Gaza eliminated a terror cell after it fired an anti-tank missile at IDF forces. The operation, led by the 7th Brigade under Division 98, also uncovered a major weapons cache and underground tunnels.
Israeli forces operating in northern Gaza eliminated a terrorist cell that fired an anti-tank missile at troops from the IDF’s 7th Brigade, the military confirmed Sunday morning. The clash occurred during ongoing combat operations in Gaza City, led by the 98th Division.
According to the IDF Spokesperson, the attack was thwarted before any Israeli soldiers were harmed. In combat footage released by the military, voices from the strike cell and ground forces can be heard coordinating an ambush. “He’s not in line of sight,” one soldier reports. “We’re waiting in ambush along their route.” A strike team responds: “Continue fire so we can spot them again.” Moments later, confirmation is heard: “We’re seeing good hits now, no outgoing fire from them.”
The fighting in Gaza shows no signs of slowing, with the IDF continuing efforts to dismantle remaining Hamas infrastructure and eliminate threats to Israeli forces.
The IDF also reported that troops uncovered and destroyed underground shafts and tunnels in the area. In one of the tunnels, soldiers found a large weapons cache, including five RPG missiles and additional arms.
