IDF Spokesperson: Hamas rule is ended or undermined in most of Gaza
The Spokesperson said that the IDF is operating on a "wide scale" level throughout most of the Gaza Strip, destroying terrorist infrastructure while maintaining "stable" control of territory.
IDF Spokesperson Effi Defrin gave a briefing today (Wednesday), summarizing IDF activity throughout the various fronts. He said that the IDF is operating on a "wide scale" in the Gaza Strip, cutting off or undermining Hamas governing power in the area.
Defrin said that the IDF operations are being backed by a whole array of intelligence, artillery, air and naval power. He said that the IDF is securing long-term achievements and preventing Hamas from reestablishing its bases of power.
He also said that the IDF is encircling the Hamas brigades in Gaza City and in the refugee camps in the center of the Strip, driven by offensives undertaken by no fewer than five divisions.
