According to the Tribune, Iranian state television has reported that Israel struck the Arak heavy water nuclear reactor. The site was evacuated before the attack, and no radiation threat has been reported.

The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that Israeli Air Force planes did attack the nuclear reactor in the Arak area of Iran overnight.

The reactor was intended for plutonium production, raw material capable of being used for a nuclear bomb. The reactor was not active and therefore there was no concern for environmental damage.

The Air Force is deepening the strike on surface-to-surface missile launchers: "We hit hundreds of launchers and most of them are unusable. And they still have the ability to launch like this morning. Exemplary civilian behavior saves lives."

"We will continue to deepen the strike at the heart of the regime in Iran and will not stop"
