Since the outbreak of Operation Rising Lion against Iran's nuclear facilities and ballistic missile systems, the IDF has attacked six airports across Iran - most of them in the west of the country, and one in Mashhad in the east. In the process 15 fighter jets and helicopters were destroyed.

The IDF spokesperson stated this morning that "as part of the effort to deepen aerial supremacy over the skies of Iran, the IDF attacked six airports of the Iranian regime in the west, east, and central Iran. In the attacks, runways, underground bunkers, a refueling aircraft, and F-14, F-5, and AH-1 aircraft belonging to the Iranian regime were hit."
