Iran's Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces declared that the country's military equipment suffered no significant damage from Israeli strikes, according to the Iranian news agency "Iran in Arabic," which is affiliated with the regime.

The senior military official emphasized Iran's readiness for extended conflict, stating: "We are prepared for a war that will last 10 years," in what appears to be a direct threat toward Israel.

Despite the Iranian official's claims of minimal damage, Israeli sources reported that "dozens of launchers, missile storage facilities and additional military sites were destroyed" in the strikes.

The statement comes as new details emerge about the scope of the war. Iranian media reported that President Masoud Pezeshkian sustained a leg injury during an Israeli airstrike on June 16 that targeted a meeting of Iran's Supreme National Security Council in western Tehran.

The attack occurred during a gathering that also included Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Judiciary Chief Mohammad Jafar Montazeri.

The attack was said to resemble the method used in the operation that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon. According to reports, six missiles were aimed at the building’s entrances and exits to block escape routes and disrupt airflow. The blasts caused a power outage, but top officials were able to get out through a pre-planned emergency exit.
