Iran breaks brand-new ceasefire; Defense Minister Katz orders fierce IDF response
Sirens sounded across northern Israel as missiles were detected heading in from Iran; the missiles were intercepted; Defense Minister Israel Katz: "I have instructed the IDF to respond with strength to the violation of the ceasefire by Iran with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran."

Sirens blared across northern Israel early today as Iran launched 2 missiles breaking the recently declared ceasefire. The surprise attack triggered immediate alerts in communities throughout the region, sending residents rushing to shelters.
The incoming missiles, confirmed by Israeli defense forces, originated from Iranian territory. The IDF responded swiftly, intercepting both of them.
Near Kibbutz Yodfat, there was apparently an impact from shrapnel or part of a missile in the cowshed. There are no casualties. There is damage.
The IDF urges the public to remain vigilant and adhere to safety protocols.
Defense Minister Israel Katz: "I have instructed the IDF to respond with strength to the violation of the ceasefire by Iran with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran. In light of the complete violation of the ceasefire declared by the President of the United States by Iran and the launching of missiles toward Israel, and in accordance with the policy of the Israeli government as established to respond strongly to any violation - I have instructed the IDF, in coordination with the Prime Minister, to continue the intensified operations to strike in Tehran aimed at thwarting regime targets and terror infrastructure in Tehran, following the activities that took place yesterday."
