"Beeper Operation will fade in comparison”: Israel’s U.S. envoy hints at major Iran strike
Ambassador Yechiel Leiter warns of a surprise this week that could eclipse past operations.

Israeli Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said this morning (Tuesday) that the world should expect a "surprise" later this week in attacks against Iran, which will make the Mossad's "Beeper Operation" against Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon look "simple." He also noted that the "surprise" is expected to occur on Thursday night and Friday.
Subsequently, the ambassador clarified in light of the quoted remarks that "when I was asked about future actions against Iran, I said we had already 'executed several surprises at the beginning of the operation,' and when the dust settles from the initial stage of the operation – 'on Thursday and Friday' – those surprises will become clear."
Meanwhile, an official Israeli source said that U.S. President Donald Trump did not pressure Israel to halt the military campaign against Iran. Earlier, American and European sources told the "Jerusalem Post" that Trump is expected to present Iran with a "last chance" offer that may even be slightly better than the previous proposal the administration presented to the Iranians about a week and a half ago.
The expectation is that even if such an offer is made, it will be based on the American principle of zero uranium enrichment. Axios reported that, according to sources familiar with the matter, the United States and Iran are discussing the possibility of holding a meeting this week between U.S. envoy Steve Biegun.
Trump conveyed several threatening messages to Iran last night, writing on the social network Truth Social: "Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and a waste of human life. In simple terms, Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. I have said this again and again! Everyone must evacuate Tehran immediately!"
