Senior Israeli Official Vows Further Strikes on Iranian Government Sites After Historic U.S. Attack
Operation Rising Lion continues as Israel prepares next phase after U.S. attacks on Iran's nuclear sites.

Following the American attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, a senior Israeli official reported today (Sunday) to Channel 14 that the operation is still not over: "In the coming days, we will target government sites."
This comes after the historic night that occurred ten days after the start of Operation Rising Lion, when U.S. President Donald Trump shocked the world by announcing a successful and unprecedented American strike to thwart the Iranian nuclear program. In a statement he published on the social network TRUTH, Trump wrote: "We achieved our goal in the successful strike on three nuclear sites in Iran – Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan." He added a short message shortly after: "Fordow is no more."
The American attack, which was carried out in full coordination with Israel, was described by Trump as a "historic moment for the United States, Israel, and the world." According to reports in the US, it was a complex military operation: six stealth bombers of the B-2 type dropped between six to 12 bunker-busting bombs of the GBU-57 type on the fortified underground nuclear facility in Fordow, which are considered the most advanced in the world. At the same time, American submarines launched about 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles toward the facilities in Natanz and Isfahan. The Fox News network reported that "it appears the US has completely destroyed the nuclear facility in Fordow," and Trump himself told the network: "Iran's ambitions to obtain nuclear weapons are officially dead."
