Multiple Israeli opposition leaders expressed support for President Trump's decision to bomb and destroy Iran's nuclear weapons sites today (Sunday).

State Camp party leader Benny Gantz said:

"The historic decision by the United States makes the world, the Middle East and Israel safer places today. I wish to convey to President Trump and the American people my profound appreciation for their leadership, determination and their clear stand with Israel throughout this campaign and tonight particularly against the Iranian regime."

Opposition Leader Yair Lapid also openly welcomed the strike:

"Thank you President Trump for your historic decision. Israel, the Middle East and the world are now safer."

Even Yair Golan, leader of the far left Democrats party, called the strike "justified":

"The American action tonight against Iranian nuclear facilities is impressive, important, and justified. It is impossible to accept a nuclear Iran, and it is good that the United States made this clear - to the entire world.

"And as President Trump wrote: Now is the time for peace. For a comprehensive agreement, for the release of the hostages, for an end to the war, for regional normalization, for real security for the citizens of Israel.

"I thank the United States and President Trump for their firm stance and courageous action. A broad political front is a paramount Israeli interest. And to the citizens of Israel - complex days lie ahead. Continue to act according to the Home Front Command's defensive guidelines, they save lives."

Avigdor Liberman, leader of the hawkish Yisrael Beytenu party, simply tweeted out the flags of the United States and Israel in support of the strike:
