Israeli Air Force Strikes Iranian Air Base in Isfahan, Hits Surface-to-Surface Missile Sites
According to reports from Iranian sources, an air force base in the central city of Isfahan was struck overnight in what appears to be a continuation of Israel’s military campaign against Iranian strategic infrastructure.
Channel 12’s Dafna Liel confirmed that the Israeli Air Force has completed a new wave of precision strikes, focusing on sites used for launching surface-to-surface missiles. The attacks are believed to be part of a broader effort to degrade Iran’s long-range strike capabilities and prevent further retaliation.
The IDF also released dramatic footage showing Israeli fighter jets striking and destroying two Iranian F-14 Tomcat aircraft on the tarmac at Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport. The American-made jets, among the last of their kind still in service globally, had been a symbol of Iran’s military pride since their acquisition before the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Defense analysts describe the loss as a devastating setback for Iran’s aging air fleet. The F-14s, which Iran had struggled to keep operational for decades despite sanctions and spare parts shortages, were considered key to Tehran’s air defense capabilities.
With the Israeli Air Force now operating with apparent impunity over Iranian skies, experts say the balance of power has shifted decisively. “Iran is now in the full surrender zone,” said one senior defense analyst, citing Israel’s effective achievement of complete air superiority.
The IDF just bombed an IRGC ballistic missile base and an oil refinery in Najafabad, West of Isfahan, Iran.
The strikes come amid heightened regional tensions following days of mutual threats, military action, and ongoing fears of escalation.

In the meantime, Tehran has become a ghost town.
People are queuing for gas, reportedly for up to three hours at a time, and some ATMs have stopped working. In short, chaos and fear rule Iran these days, and after Trumps' warning to flee Tehran late last night, it's no wonder people are leaving in droves.
