The IDF announced that in overnight operations just hours before a ceasefire was declared, Israeli forces struck dozens of Iranian targets, including missile launchers aimed at Israel, top nuclear scientists, and facilities linked to Iran’s nuclear program.

Iranian state television reports that Israeli airstrikes early this morning killed Mohammad Reza Seddiqi, head of Iran’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), in his Tehran apartment. Seddiqi, recently sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury, was linked to nuclear and explosive weapons development. He was reportedly killed just hours before the U.S.-announced ceasefire took effect. Seddiqi is believed to be the 17th nuclear-linked scientist killed since the start of Israel’s operation.

The Israeli Air Force confirmed it conducted operations over western Iran this morning, targeting Iranian ballistic missile launchers as they attempted to fire toward Israel, disrupting potential attacks. In addition, hundreds of Revolutionary Guards personnel were eliminated in last night's attacks.
