Israel to Iraq: Put a leash on militias or we'll bomb you

Israel has reportedly sent warning to the Iraqi government via the United States that if pro-Iran militias in Iraq attack Israel - Israel will hit back, targeting the Iraqi government itself, according to a report today (Sunday) by Kann News.

The Iraqi government reportedly genuinely fears a situation where the Shiite element of the population forces the country into a broader war, leading to split with other parts of the population.

The government therefore told the militias that it would not be "forgiving" of any provocative actions taken by the militias against Israel.
