The police received a report about a resident of Kafr Kanna who posted a picture of the Iranian flag on his account alongside a song and an emoji saluting the flag. Upon receiving the report, officers from the Northern District swiftly worked to locate the account holder, arrived at his home, and arrested him for questioning.

After reviewing all the data and obtaining the appropriate approvals from the relevant authorities, the suspect was interrogated in an investigation conducted by the Northern District Police for publishing praise, sympathy, or encouragement of terrorist acts, support, or identification.

The suspect's arrest was extended in court, and today (Tuesday) a prosecutor's statement was submitted to the court in preparation for filing an indictment against him in the coming days for the offenses attributed to him, at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court through the Northern District Attorney's Office.

The police stated: "The Israel Police will act firmly against anyone who praises and identifies with terrorist organizations and enemy states and praises their actions during wartime, in online spaces and anywhere else to ensure public safety."
