Knesset Committee to Hold Special Session on Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria
Initiated by MK Tzvi Succot, a subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will convene next week to discuss the practical implications of extending full Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

JERUSALEM — In a move that could reshape the future of Israeli governance in Judea and Samaria, a special Knesset subcommittee will convene next week to debate the next steps toward applying full Israeli sovereignty in the region.
The session was initiated by MK zvi Sukkot of the Religious Zionism party and will be held under the auspices of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria Affairs. Senior representatives from the Defense Ministry, Ministry for Settlement Affairs, and the IDF have been invited to participate.
The meeting will focus on scenarios for governance, security coordination, legal integration, and administrative control, as well as the geopolitical consequences of applying sovereignty.
Sukkot: “This is the Moment of Truth”
“This is our opportunity to decide the future of the State of Israel,” said MK Sukkot. “Applying sovereignty will, with God’s help, determine the fate of Judea and Samaria—and of the entire country.”
The move represents a significant escalation in the national conversation, bringing the sovereignty debate back to the forefront of Israeli politics—not as ideology, but as a matter of strategic policy.
