Netanyahu: Hamas took over aid in northern Gaza; IDF instructed to prevent this
The Prime and Defense Ministers released a joint statement that Hamas will not be allowed to continue to steal humanitarian aid for those residing in northern Gaza.
The Prime Minister and Defense Minister released the following statement today (Wednesday):
"Following information received today that Hamas is again taking control of humanitarian aid entering the northern Strip and stealing it from civilians, the Prime Minister and Defense Minister instructed the IDF to present within 48 hours an action plan to prevent Hamas from taking control of the aid."
Hamas has repeatedly tried to derail efforts to hand out aid to Gazans outside of their influence and with them unable to steal or resell the aid, including claiming massacres at aid sites and threatening to murder aid providers.
