One missile was detected by IDF aerial defense.
The IDF just released a statement today (Thursday):
"Initial report - Sirens sounded in several areas in Israel following a projectile that was launched from Yemen. The details are under review."
This was preceded by the following statement:
"Initial report - The IDF has identified the launch of a missile from Yemen toward Israeli territory, IAF aerial defense systems are operating to intercept the threat.
"The public is requested to follow the Home Front Command’s defensive guidelines."
There are unconfirmed reports it has been intercepted.
The IDF has now released the following statement:
"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted. Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol."
