Rubio to Iran: Israel acted on its own, hands off US personell
The White House issued a statement by Secretary of State Rubio, per which the US is not involved in the decision to launch a strike on Iranian targets.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio released a statement tonight (Thursday/Friday), saying that Israel's current strike in Iran is its alone and that the United States is not involved. He further said that Iran should leave US personnel alone. The statement was reposted by the White House's Rapid Response team on X:
