Last night (Tuesday) there was a protest rally in front of HaKirya, demanding the release of the abductees. Among the protesters was Yocheved Lifshitz (85), who was released from Hamas captivity a month ago, but her husband Oded remained in captivity.

As I recall, it was published on Channel 12 that a few days after the massacre, Yahya Sinwar, who speaks fluent Hebrew, came to meet the hostages himself, introduced himself, and told them that they were in a protected place. Now Lifshitz reveals that she was at that meeting, and even told the Hamas leader her opinion.

"Sinwar was with us 3-4 days after we arrived," Lifshitz tells the Davar newspaper, "I asked him how he is not ashamed, to do such a thing to people who have supported peace all these years? He didn't answer. He was silent." "I'm here to demonstrate. To bring my Oded home," she added.

Yocheved Lifshitz is a photographer, teacher, and human rights activist. She was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7. Two and a half weeks later, she was released from Hamas captivity, along with Nurit Cooper. The day after her release, she participated in a press conference and told about her experiences from captivity: "We walked for miles inside a network of caves that looked like a network of spider webs." She said that she was held together with several members of the kibbutz.
