Settlers and Palestinians clash near Ramallah; five killed in clash with IDF
Settlers and Palestinians clashed in Kafr Malik, including stone throwing and other acts of violence.

The IDF released the following statement today (Wednesday):
"Earlier this evening (Wednesday), dozens of Israeli civilians set fire to property in the village of Kafr Malik in the Binyamin Brigade area.
"A confrontation developed at the location between Israeli civilians and Palestinians which included mutual stone throwing.
"Upon receiving the report, IDF forces and police rushed to the scene and acted to disperse the confrontation.
"As a result of the stone throwing, an IDF officer was lightly wounded, received medical treatment on site and did not require evacuation to the hospital.
"Subsequently, several terrorists carried out gunfire from deep within the village and threw stones at the forces, who opened fire toward the source of the shooting and stone throwers.
"Hits were identified and it emerged that there are several wounded and killed.
"Five Israeli suspects were arrested during the incident and transferred to continued handling by the Israel Police."
