Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa enacted urgent measures on Monday to contain an outbreak of infections discovered across several hospital departments, including resistant bacteria such as Acinetobacter and Klebsiella, and the fungus Candida auris.
According to Arutz 7, the hospital emphasized that while these infections do not pose a risk to healthy individuals, they can lead to severe complications for patients with weakened immune systems.
