Journalist and publicist Shai Golden is coming out harshly against interviews of politicians and former Israelis with British journalist Piers Morgan, and is calling for legislation to ban this. According to him, these interviews cause "enormous damage" to Israel's image, as Morgan's goal is "to present Israel as a country of bloodthirsty messianics."

Golden specifically mentions three cases of interviews, which he calls "a crushing 3:0 in his favor" (Morgan's): the appearances of Knesset members Mai Golan and Amihai Shikli, as well as another interview that took place yesterday with settlement activist and right-wing activist Daniella Weiss.

Golden describes the interview with her as "horrific" and "terrible damage," and concludes: "Let us quit while we're ahead. Daniella Weiss is really enough."

According to Golden, the fact that Morgan is "the most important and watched journalist in Britain" amplifies the damage caused to international public opinion.
