In a coordinated effort between the IDF and the ISA, the Israeli Air Force successfully targeted and eliminated Ismail al-Ghoul, a Hamas Military Wing operative and Nukhba terrorist involved in the October 7th Massacre. Al-Ghoul, who played a crucial role in recording and publicizing attacks against IDF soldiers, was a key figure in Hamas' military operations.

The IDF confirmed that, based on intelligence from both the IDF and ISA, the IAF struck a compound within the Dalal School in Gaza City's Shuja'iyya neighborhood. This facility was used by Hamas for planning attacks and sheltering operatives.

The IDF stressed that extensive precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm, including precise munitions, thorough surveillance, and additional intelligence measures before the strike.
