John Kirby: Iran is preparing to attack Israel, US will defend if and when it happens
The US Spokesperson for the National Security Council John Kirby said today that Iran is now preparing to attack Israel and that the United States will defend Israel if and when it happens.
NSC Spokesperson John Kirby said a short time ago (Tuesday) that Iran is now "postured and poised" to attack Israel, and that the United States would help defend Israel if and when that happened.
What form this attack will take, if and when it happens, is unclear given multiple warnings and false alarms.
