WHO: Polio vaccination campaign in Gaza progressing better than expected

Officials at the World Health Organization announced today (Tuesday) that the polio vaccination campaign was advancing better than expected, and that over 160,000 children have already been vaccinated, according to Ynet.
Dr. Rik Peeperkorn, a senior WHO official in charge of health in the Palestinian-governed territories, said that humanitarian pauses used to advance the campaign were working and that the campaign had 10 days left.
