Two people are in serious condition after having been stabbed in Hadera. A third elderly man was injured in the same stabbing attack, and is in moderate condition. The terrorist has been identified as Ahmad Jabarin (36) from Umm Al-Fahm, who holds an Israeli ID. He has been neutralized.

Eli Bin, Director General of Magen David Adom (MDA) said: From the initial report, it looks like there were three separate scenes where the stabbings took place: Jabotinsky Street, a senior day center, and Feinberg Street.

A spokesperson for the Israel police said, "A short while ago, a report was received about 2 injured people in the city center of Hadera. Police forces are at the scene. The background of the incident is being investigated."

An MDA spokesperson said, "There are 3 wounded people, who were stabbed in Hadera. Our paramedics are providing treatment to the wounded and have transferred them to Hillel Yaffe Hospital."

Update: It has now been confirmed that 6 people were wounded in the attack, 2 of whom are now in critical condition.

At this stage, it appears that there was only one assailant, but helicopters are flying over Hadera to search for potential accomplices.
