Staff Sergeant Itai Parisat and Staff Sergeant Yair Hananya fell in battle in Jabaliya

The IDF announced on Saturday evening the tragic loss of two soldiers from the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion during combat in northern Gaza.

Staff Sergeant Itay Parizat, 20, from Petah Tikva, and Staff Sergeant Yair Hananya, 22, from Mitzpe Netofa, were killed in the line of duty. Parizat served as a soldier in the Shaked Battalion, while Hananya held the role of platoon sergeant.

In the same incident, another soldier from the Shaked Battalion was critically injured. The wounded soldier was evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and his family has been notified.
