Dozens of terrorists killed, hundreds arrested, in Samaria
IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police forces continue to operate in Nur a-Shams in the Ephraim Brigade.

IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police forces are operating today (Monday) in Nur a-Shams in the Ephraim Brigade, as part of the operation to thwart terrorism in northern Samaria, which expanded yesterday to these areas. So far, the forces have eliminated many terrorists in the area who posed a threat to our forces and located many weapons in all the locations.
In a combined operation that took place last night in the village of Silat al-Haratiyah in the Jenin area, the fighters arrested a number of wanted persons who had fled from the security forces for a long time. According to a statement by the security forces, the detainees had planned to carry out attacks in recent months in the name of Hamas.
Among those detained was Alaa al-Din Bitawi, a resident of Jenin, who is considered one of the leaders of Hamas in the city's terror camp. Bitawi was allegedly involved in planning attacks against Israeli targets together with other terrorists. A number of other wanted persons involved in terrorist activity in Jenin were detained along with him.
