Unusual incident at Knesset hearing: A citizen raises his hands covered with "blood"
An individual with red gloves was removed from a committee meeting during speeches by families of the hostages.

During a tense session of the Knesset Constitution Committee on Tuesday morning, an unusual incident unfolded when a man raised his hands clad in red gloves during speeches by families of hostages.
The Knesset Guard attempted to remove him, citing disruption, but Committee Chair MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism) intervened, asking for clarification on whether the man was a relative of a hostage. Once confirmed that he was not, he was escorted out while shouting at Rothman, “You have blood on your hands, you won’t escape it.”
Tensions escalated further when Merav Svirsky, the sister of Itay Svirsky - who was kidnapped and later killed by Hamas - confronted Rothman. Rothman declared, “I hope God gives the decision-makers the courage to stop this bad deal, return to combat, and unleash hell on Hamas.”
Svirsky retorted, “You are sacrificing human lives. My brother was murdered due to military pressure—a building collapsed on him after an IDF bombing, and his captor shot him two days later because there was fighting in the area.”
