Under royal directives, Jordan has begun a large-scale humanitarian mission to evacuate and treat critically ill children from Gaza, according to Jordanian media. On Tuesday, Jordanian ambulances and military transport vehicles entered the Gaza Strip to transfer the first group of 40 children in need of urgent medical care.

This effort is part of a broader initiative to evacuate a total of 2,000 sick children, who will receive specialized treatment in Jordanian public and private hospitals. Once their medical care is complete, they will be safely returned to Gaza.

The evacuation was carried out via both air and land, with Jordan providing the necessary resources to ensure the children's safe transport. The initiative has drawn international attention, with numerous global organizations expressing their readiness to support Jordan’s efforts in providing life-saving care.
