WATCH: Terrorist kills Israeli citizen on Route 66 in a ramming, stabbing and shooting attack

At 9:44am today (Monday), a terrorist drove near Hatashbi Junction, spotted a young man approximately 20 years old at a bus stop, and struck him with his vehicle.
Afterward, the terrorist exited the vehicle and stabbed him with a knife; the young man’s serious injuries resulted from the stabbing.
Subsequently, the terrorist pulled out a long firearm and shot at a car traveling in the opposite lane. The driver was not hit by the gunfire, but his father, a man approximately 70 years old seated next to him, was critically injured.
Paramedics and EMTs from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided initial medical treatment at the scene to the wounded Israelis.
The 70 year old tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Update: The 20-year-old wounded individual is in serious and unstable condition.
Based on initial reports, a team of Coastal Border Police (Magav) officers were coincidentally in the area, spotted the armed terrorist, and shot him to neutralize the threat.
