President Donald Trump arrived in the Netherlands on Tuesday for a high-stakes NATO summit, following a whirlwind series of developments in the Middle East. Just days earlier, Trump ordered a powerful American military strike on key Iranian nuclear facilities, and only hours before his arrival, he announced a ceasefire agreement in the escalating Israel-Iran conflict.

Speaking to reporters, Trump claimed that Iran’s underground Fordow uranium enrichment site had been "completely destroyed" in the strike. He said the damage would soon be revealed to the public, adding that Israel was preparing a report confirming the destruction. According to Trump, Israeli personnel who visited the site after the attack reported that it had been entirely wiped out.

Trump said, “It was obliteration… Israel is doing a report on it now and I was told that they said it was total obliteration. They have guys that go in there after the hit and they said it was total obliteration.”

Trump declared that the U.S. operation had set back Iran’s nuclear program by decades and insisted that the American strike had effectively "ended the war." When asked whether the United States would strike again if Iran attempted to rebuild its nuclear capabilities, he responded simply, "Certainly."

He also suggested that Iran, now focused on recovery, was unlikely to pursue uranium enrichment in the immediate future. Trump said he believed that, eventually, the U.S. and Iran would establish some form of relationship.

He also praised Netanyahu, saying, “He should be proud of himself. Israel was truly excellent.”
