How Many People Were Killed in Syria This Week?

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has the numbers.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, 516 people were killed in the last four days of violent clashes between Druze, Bedouin, and Syrian government forces, as well as in Israeli air strikes.

Here's the breakdown:

"233 people from As-Suwayda Governorate, including 71 civilians, among them four children and four women. 83 people, including four women and an elderly man, were executed in the field by personnel from the Defense and Interior Ministries.

"261 Syrian Defense Ministry and Public Security personnel, including 18 members of Bedouin tribes. Three additional members of Bedouin tribes, including a woman and a child, were executed in the field by Druze militants.

"15 members of the Ministries of Defense and Interior were killed in Israeli strikes.

"Three people, including a woman and two unidentified individuals, were killed in Israeli strikes the Ministry of Defense building.

"One journalist was killed during the clashes in As-Suwayda."
