Moti Babchik, chief of staff to Yitzhak Goldknopf and a senior official in the United Torah Judaism party, attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today and accused him of causing the Haredim to leave the government: "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should only bring complaints to the Ahithophel advisors who explained to him how to deceive the great rabbis of Israel and lie to his loyal coalition partners who walked with Likud through good and bad times and received ungrateful treatment in return."

His full statement: "No one will be able to silence the truth! Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should only bring complaints to the Ahithophel advisors who explained to him how to deceive the great rabbis of Israel and lie to his loyal coalition partners who walked with Likud through good and bad times and received ungrateful treatment in return."

"The support of the Haredi parties was given in the past and will be given in the future, but only to those who know how to act in true partnership to preserve the world of Torah and the values of Judaism and Israel's tradition."

In an interview with Akiva Weiss in the "Yoman" supplement of 'Makor Rishon', MK Yaakov Asher from United Torah Judaism harshly attacked today's conduct regarding the conscription law and warned of its implications for the entire right-wing bloc. This comes after his party withdrew this week from its coalition positions.

MK Asher accuses MK Yuli Edelstein of "violating agreements regarding conscription." According to him, Edelstein "deceived not only us, but also the reservists. Every day he told each person something different. So great, you succeeded, now there's incitement against the Haredim and there's no law and no process. So what did you gain?" He adds that "there was an event here of who would scare Yuli more, and they succeeded."

Note: "Ahithophel" is a biblical reference to King David's advisor who betrayed him, used here to mean treacherous advisors. "Shlit"a" is an honorific used after mentioning great rabbis.
