"The events in Syria, the massacre of Druze in Suwayda, prove once again that in the Middle East, whoever cannot defend themselves - will not be able to live in security. Terror organizations and jihadist elements pose a danger in all arenas and must be fought against, as you are doing here.
"Your operational achievements here - elimination of terrorists, destruction of infrastructure above and below ground, conquest and clearing of extensive territories, will enable us to bring about a turning point in our operational activity patterns.
"We will implement new operational formations through which we will leverage our advantages, reduce weaknesses and deepen operational achievements. These will put Hamas under increasing distress and reduce the attrition of forces. We have presented the possibilities to the political echelon and we will stabilize the reality according to our interests.
"Your achievements in the field within the framework of Operation 'Chariots of Gideon' are what advance Hamas's defeat and create the potential for a hostage deal.
"Unfortunately, there are also casualties in battle. This is part of the reality of war. Our fighters fell in the sacred mission of defending the communities adjacent to here. We are fighting to defend ourselves. It's impossible to do this only through defense, we defend through offense. This is our central lesson from October 7th.
"This is a time for perseverance and patience, only this way will we reach a state where we break our enemies. If we reach a deal for the return of the hostages in the coming days, it will be your tremendous achievement. Every hostage that will be released is thanks to your fighting."
