Dutch radical right leader Geert Wilders posted a statement on X saying that he had a phone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Sunday) and told him he had support from "millions and millions of Europeans," despite "weak politicians and biased media":

"Just had a conversation by with Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu and I told him that besides criticism from weak politicians and biased media, there are millions and millions of people in Europe supporting him and his brave actions to free both Israel and Gaza from the terrorists of Hamas. His fight is our fight since we cherish life and freedom while they love death and destruction. #AmIsraelChai"

Meanwhile, Dutch Prime Minister Derek Schoof told Israel that the country would not be recognizing a Palestinian state but that it would recommend a suspension of the European Union's association agreement with Israel under pressure from public opinion, as he put it.

Pressure is increasing from European countries on Israel to end the war even if Hamas remains in power and under arms, due to allegations of famine in the Gaza Strip spread far and wide by Hamas-controlled government agencies.
