IDF soldiers neutralized a terrorist who attempted to stab them on Tuesday at the Gitai Avisar Junction in Samaria, with no Israeli casualties reported.

According to initial reports, the female terrorist began by throwing rocks at IDF forces and Israeli vehicles in the area. Soldiers stationed at the junction responded by initiating the standard arrest procedure. At that moment, the terrorist pulled out a knife, prompting the soldiers to neutralize her.

The IDF confirmed the incident, stating: "A short while ago, IDF soldiers neutralized a terrorist who hurled rocks and attempted to stab IDF soldiers near the Gitai Avisar junction. No injuries were reported."

Just a few weeks ago, a Palestinian terrorist attack involving stone-throwing targeted a vehicle on the Hawara bypass road in Samaria, narrowly missing a two-month-old infant.

According to reports, the assailants hurled stones at the car near the village of Odala, situated along the bypass. One stone struck the front windshield, shattering it and sending shrapnel into the back seat, where the baby was seated.

The infant and her mother sustained light injuries from the debris. Medical teams provided on-site treatment to the child, though her parents declined hospital evacuation.
