In the shadow of war: Trump says committed to "diplomatic" solution with Iran
As reports come in of a possible Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites in the next few days, the President reiterated his desire for a deal with the Mullahs.
President Donald Trump posted a statement on TruthSocial today (Thursday) saying he was still interested in a diplomatic solution with Iran, despite growing warnings of a coming Israeli strike against Iran.
In his statement, he said that:
"We remain committed to a Diplomatic Resolution to the Iran Nuclear Issue! My entire Administration has been directed to negotiate with Iran. They could be a Great Country, but they first must completely give up hopes of obtaining a Nuclear Weapon. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
