Trump could target Israeli judges and prosecutors with sanctions over Netanyahu trial
The U.S. President has already used similar tactics against international courts he viewed as biased.

U.S. President Donald Trump's second support message for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against the ongoing trial made it clear that the American president is very determined on the issue – and may even be considering taking steps to put an end to the "serious injustice" according to him.
It seems that Trump does not intend to back down in this battle so easily. Channel 14's political commentator Tamir Morag described the options at stake: "Trump may impose sanctions on the judges and prosecutors and perhaps even on their family members – preventing entry into the U.S., freezing assets, and prohibiting them from holding bank accounts."
According to him, Trump can impose sanctions on the judicial system itself and on any entity that provides it with services, including commercial companies in the fields of computing, logistics, and more. Such a move has been attempted in the past against the International Criminal Court in The Hague – and led to significant disruption of its operations.
President Trump tweeted another support post for Prime Minister Netanyahu last night, and this time – he publicly declared that his administration does not intend to stand on the sidelines, which could be interpreted as a statement of possible American intervention in the Israeli judicial system, which is struggling to halt a trial that is deemed ridiculous by many against a sitting prime minister.
