Ukraine to send firefighting plane to help Israel contain blaze

Ukraine is sending Israel a plane to help fight the wildfires today (Wednesday) in another sign of growing international support and in the wake of Spain, France, and Romania all promising planes to help contain the fire.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister said on X that "Even as we defend against aggression at home, we are ready to assist others in saving human lives."
