The overnight U.S. strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, including Fordo, has sparked a wave of reactions across social media as the public processes the historic, and somewhat hysterical, events unfolding.

The United States joined Israel’s campaign against Iran last night, with B-2 bombers targeting nuclear sites, notably Fordo.

The Israeli public, far from remaining indifferent, quickly flooded social media with a barrage of jokes about the tumultuous days we’re experiencing. After the entire country indulged in emotional eating binges. Tel Aviv shifted its operations underground to the Dizengoff Center, and planes seemingly borrowed from "Star Wars" executed the mission. In the face of this madness, the public turned to the best way to cope: humor.

Posts found on X added to the laughter, with one user quipping about the Fordo strike being the “last nail in the coffin” for Iran’s nuclear dreams, while another humorously suggested Trump should tweet a memo to Fordo workers telling them to “not go in to work today.” A playful take imagined the strike as a symbolic gesture with Fordo still operational, and others shared shock and awe with memes, including one calling it a “Holy shit!” moment with the first strike photos. These lighthearted reactions highlight the internet’s knack for finding humor even amid tension.

Here’s a standout collection of some funny posts found on X. As our grandparents told us, "Laughter truly is the best medicine,"
