Unilever, Ben and Jerry's parent company, is cutting off millions in funding from the ice cream company's charitable foundation, following its refusal to provide audit documents saying where the money is being sent, according to a report today (Monday) by Semafor.

Ben and Jerry's has been increasingly at odds with Unilever over its activism, especially its pro-Palestinian activism, ever since October 7. A decision by the ice cream company to boycott sales in Judea and Samaria led Unilever to broker a compromise, allowing the franchisee to continue to sell the ice cream in Hebrew rather than English.

Now the leftwing ice cream company's charitable foundation is under increasing scrutiny by Unilever, which wishes to avoid further embarrassment and possible political entanglements due to the foundation's donations to all kinds of pro-Palestinian groups, many of which remain private.
