Will Israel bomb Iran again soon?
A number of sources suggest Israel is prepared to launch another series of strikes against Iran - on these conditions.
Sources "with knowledge" on the matter say that Israel is looking into striking Iran's nuclear weapons project again soon, and they believe President Trump may approve doing so under certain circumstances, according to a report today (Monday) by Axios.
Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly seeks to achieve an understanding with Trump regarding any future nuclear deal and secure conditions under which Israel might strike what's left of Iran's program. The sources speaking to Axios believe that Trump would OK such a strike under one of two scenarios:
- Iran tries to remove the existing enriched uranium from the damaged and destroyed nuclear weapons sites
- Iran tries to rebuild its enrichment infrastructure in general
